Sea to Sky-based filmmaker Peter Wojnar earned first place in Crankworx's Dirt Diaries on Thursday, Aug. 11.
Wojnar's submission bested four other short videos that dug into one athlete's "diary," earning the $5,000 prize.
Coming in second place was Matthew Tongue, who hoisted the $3,000 cheque on the Whistler Olympic Plaza stage.
