The new World Ski and Snowboard Festival (WSSF) Battle of the Bands has it's first victor.
Sea to Sky punk rock outfit Last Reminisced Heroes (LRH) have bested Rivers in Violet, a group of musically-inclined Freestyle BC coaches. Expect the trio of Andrew Alido (vocals, guitar), Jonathan Rosales (bass) and Allan Alido (drums) to play the Skullcandy Stage on April 10 at 3 p.m. before the day's headliner, Ruby Waters.
Each of LRH's members hail from Batangas in the Philippines. In a bio submitted to WSSF, they describe themselves as "known for fast riffs, intense melodies, and heavy breakdowns...our sound pushes the boundaries of punk rock, blending raw energy with emotionally charged lyrics." Since releasing their inaugural album Too Much of a Good Thing in 2023, LRH has established itself upon the rock music scenes of Whistler and Squamish.
