The upcoming Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler Opening Ceremony has gained a big dose of star power.
Multi-platinum pop icon Katy Perry is now slated to perform on Feb. 8 at BC Place to help touch off the Games alongside Canadian superstar Nelly Furtado, Quebec-based talent Roxane Bruneau and Grammy nominee Noah Kahan.
Perry has earned five American Music Awards, 13 Grammy nominations and 14 People's Choice Awards. She was named by Billboard as one of the 21st century's greatest pop stars and has notched 115 billion cumulative streams.
Off stage, Perry is also a known philanthropist. She was appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 2013.
The 2025 Invictus Games will run from Feb. 8 to 16 across multiple locations in Whistler and Vancouver. More details can be found here.
