The annual People's Film series will wrap up for the season on July 17 with E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.

Steven Spielberg's 1982 classic tells the tale of a young boy who befriends an alien stranded on Earth. Together with his siblings, they set off to help E.T. return home.

John Williams provides an iconic score to accompany a four-time Academy Award winner that has been known for decades as heartwarming, family-friendly and one of the most acclaimed motion pictures of all time.

Arts Whistler will also host a game of Family Feud during intermission, with prizes at stake. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with tickets priced at $10 for all ages. Kids under the age of 16 receive a free bag of popcorn.
