Whistler residents have one extra week to register for the resort's Community Life Survey.
The RMOW launched its annual survey last month, giving respondents the opportunity to sign up to receive the survey directly to their email inbox for the first time. Initially, locals looking to participate had until April 19 to register for the survey, but that deadline has been extended until April 27.
Between April 22 and May 3, those registered will receive an email with a customized link to access the survey. All responses are anonymous and respondents are not required to provide any personal information.
“I encourage you to participate if you’re called for the phone survey. It takes approximately 15 minutes and your responses will help to inform municipal decision-making. This is particularly important as we plan for COVID-19 community recovery in the coming months,” Mayor Jack Crompton previously stated in a release.
“Alternatively, you can have your say by signing up for the online survey, which we’ll email to you. We’re excited to offer this convenient option to help ensure that we receive a wide range of responses from all demographics in the community.”
Results from the Community Life Survey help the RMOW and council track service performance and understand community priorities and needs, as well as help guide policy development at municipal hall.
This year’s results will also inform Whistler’s post-COVID-19 recovery strategy.
