Intersection is one of the World Ski and Snowboard Festival's (WSSF) most popular events, giving participants four weeks to shoot and edit a five-to-seven minute winter sports film. $10,000 are awarded to first place, with $5,000 for the runner-up and $2,000 for third place and the People's Choice Award. These are the crews vying for supremacy this year.

Joey Kraft and defending champions "The Reserves" have their sights set on a repeat victory.

"Shmobb" finished second in 2024 and are back to try and improve that placing with Caleb Chomlack in the lead.

"Airtime" is helmed by Griffin Elsey and Alex Clapin, the latter of which recently produced a documentary about a snow-sport counterculture from Vail, Colo. known as the Ravinos.

"Friendly Fire", led by Cam Keith, is a gang of skiers and snowboarders who love exploring B.C. terrain from Revelstoke to Whistler.

Jeremy Allen and Shane Roy unite as "Baked Goods" with their mutual cinematography and action sports photography skills.

"The Buck Hunters" have entered the fray via wild card.

Judges on hand to determine the results will consist of veteran cinematographer Aaron Leyland, professional big mountain skier Alex Armstrong, decorated filmmaker Ben Webb, sports marketing expert Claire Thompson and Jeff Schmuck, editor of Forecast Ski Magazine.
