art-on-the-lake-2023
Art on the Lake features live bands, art, and performance across two days on and around Alta Lake.

Do you like art? Do you like being outside on a warm summer day? If so, mark Aug. 15 and 16 on your calendar as Art on the Lake returns.

Arts Whistler will transform the south end of Alta Lake into a floating oasis with vibrant music, a waterborne gallery with content from over 30 Sea to Sky artists, dance sessions, art classes and more. The fan-favourite dog dock jumping competition, "Wag, Woof, Water" is also back.

New in 2024 is the Arthentic Pop-up Market at Lakeside Park, where guests can interact with local creators, see demonstrations of their creative process and buy their favoured finds.

Local performers like Native Thunder, DJ Foxy Moron, Rachel Lewis and 2023 Whistler Music Search champion Shoulder Pains will provide a bevy of catchy tunes.

Heidi the Artist is also on hand to faciliate a pair of two-day art workshops for all experience levels.

Get ready to dust off your paddleboard, kayak, canoe or beach towel and partake in this free event. Visit the Arts Whistler website to check out the full lineup.
