The two-day conference that offers a holistic approach to creative business ventures is back. More than 25 entrepreneurs will present at Re/Form, which focuses on a balance of wellness and mentorship for creative entrepreneurs.
Candace Campo, a member of the Squamish Nation and Talaysay Tours founder, will be among the speakers at the event. Niki Sharma, a Vancouver lawyer who practices Aboriginal law and is an advocate for social justice, is also scheduled to attend. The likes of naturopath Thara Vayali, the founder of Bodega Ridge, Jesse Keefer, and the co-owners of the Vancouver-roaming Juice Truck, will join them.
The conference, held at the Cheakamus Centre on March 21 and 22, will also include a choice of personal and professional development workshops.
"We've taken a holistic approach to our programming to ensure we've filled the space between learning and wellness," Re/Form co-founder Rachel Boguski said in a press release. "Rather than networking, we're beginning the program with facilitated circles and storytelling to create a deeper and more meaningful sense of connection not typically found in a conference environment."
The schedule describes breathing and movement exercises, money consciousness and a storied tour of the surrounding landscape. Instead of formal networking, there will be fireside chats and story circles. Yoga, visioning and goal setting are featured on the second day of Re/Form. Financial planning and marketing strategies balance the conference's focus.
